Hi, I’m Stacy.

I’m 35, a former product designer, lifelong dog person, and volunteer with shelter dogs. I live and work only within Bezuidenhout, so I keep things local, calm, and personal.

I offer individual walks for reactive, sensitive, anxious or traumatized dogs. I don’t provide formal training — my focus is low-trigger walks, enrichment, patience, safety, and a calm experience for dogs who need a little more understanding.

I know how hard daily life with a reactive dog can be, and how difficult it is to trust someone else with them.

My first dog, Pip, is a mini dachshund. We have come a long way with her reactivity, and today it is simply part of who she is. Because of her, I have a special soft spot for dachshunds and understand their big feelings, strong opinions, and tiny-but-mighty personalities.

My second dog is a rescue Podenco, so I also understand prey drive, recall challenges, sensitivity, and the importance of not taking unnecessary risks. If a dog should not be off leash, I will not let them off leash. Safety always comes first.

I’m happy to walk small to medium-sized dogs who need special care, a slower approach, or a more thoughtful environment. I do not take working breeds.

I also offer boarding for one small to medium-sized calm and stable dog at a time. Your dog would stay in my home with my two dogs: a gentle Podenco and an alert, energetic mini dachshund. Boarding includes morning, afternoon and evening walks, around 2 hours total per day.

I live and work locally in Bezuidenhout, but I choose walking routes carefully depending on the dog.

For reactive dogs, I usually avoid Haagse Bos, as it can be too busy and unpredictable. Instead, I prefer calmer routes such as Marlot, Clingendael, green paths around Mariahoeve, Voorburg, and a fenced dog park in Voorburg when suitable.

The walk is always adapted to your dog’s needs, trigger level and safety.
