We are a dog-loving family living in Bezuidenhout on a quiet road, right next to the beautiful Haagse Bos, which is perfect for long and enjoyable dog walks. Our home also has a large, fully enclosed back garden where dogs can safely explore and play.

Dogs have always been an important part of our lives, and we both grew up with them. Over the years we have cared for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities, so we understand how important it is that every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved when they are away from their owners.

Our motivation for becoming pet sitters comes from our genuine love for animals and the joy they bring to a home. We also have a young toddler who absolutely loves dogs, so animals are very much part of our family life. Because of this, we ask that dogs staying with us are comfortable around young children. Having dogs around makes our home even happier, and we enjoy providing them with a warm and caring “home away from home.”

I work from home, which means dogs have company throughout the day and are rarely left alone. This allows for multiple walks, playtime, and lots of attention during the day.

A typical day includes walks in the nearby Haagse Bos, time playing in our enclosed garden, and spending time indoors with the family. On weekends, we are an active family who enjoy longer walks and outdoor adventures in the surrounding areas.

We also have a well-natured and calm cat, so dogs who are comfortable with cats will feel right at home. To make sure every dog receives plenty of attention and care, we only host a small number of dogs at a time. We are also happy to follow your dog’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled during their stay.

We have many years of experience with dogs through our own pets as well as caring for dogs for friends and family. For the safety and wellbeing of all animals in our care, we only accept dogs that are fully vaccinated.
