Hi! I'm Liz! I've been a petsitter on Pawshake since July 2017, looking after dogs, cats and rabbits of all formats and personalities. It's been an amazing few years filled with joy. It's been such a privilege to be entrusted to look after your pets - thank you!

Since October 2022 I have my own dog, but I am still very keen to look after your pets. Sky then goes to Benno, my partner, which is working out perfectly, as she is both of ours.

More about me:

I live in Voorburg, a paradise for dogs due to its multitude of green spaces.

I work and study part-time and have several free hours each day to care for your pet. I can't be home all the time, unfortunately. Some days I am away for six hours or so.

I have a roomy apartment and thought I don't have a garden, I like to take dogs for long walks or play with them in the parks nearby.

I have two rabbits who live in their own room and don't get in contact with your dogs or cats.

I am happy to sleep over at your place. This is often the preferred choice for cat owners.

I currently do not offer doggy daycare or daily walks.

About my services:

I board one dog at a time (unless they are of the same owne or can be kept apart). Pets get tons of cuddles, playtime and lots of love. I care for each pet as if it’s my own. They can go anywhere in my house and can be with me all the time whenever I am home. I have a bad habit of talking to them all the time 🤪

I walk dogs as often as they are used to. And when walking a dog, a typical walk lasts half hour to an hour. In this time I can also play fetch with them or supervise them if they like to swim. I also play with the pets in our house and spoil them rotten (within limits). For cats, I give cuddles and play with them and talk to them. They seem to enjoy my company and often come lie on my lap. I want animals to feel like it’s their best holiday ever! Owners often tell me they think their pets wouldn't want to go home :)
