Hi, my name is Annie! I am currently a high school student in 5 VWO, and one of my biggest passions is spending time with animals. I have always loved pets and enjoy getting to know their unique personalities. I am a responsible, caring, patient, and reliable person who understands how important it is for pet owners to feel comfortable and confident when leaving their dog in someone else's care.

Over the years, I have gained experience looking after dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. Through these experiences, I have learned that every dog is different and has their own needs, routines, and preferences. Because of this, I always make it a priority to adapt my care to each individual dog. Whether a dog is energetic and playful, shy and reserved, or older and prefers a calmer pace, I make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while they are with me.

I offer both dog walking and doggy day care services. During walks, I focus on providing dogs with the exercise, mental stimulation, and attention they need. My standard walks are usually around 30 minutes long, but I always make sure the walk suits the dog's energy level, age, and physical condition. For active dogs, this may include longer walks, games, and opportunities to explore. For senior dogs or dogs with lower energy levels, I ensure the walk is comfortable and enjoyable without pushing them beyond their limits.

Safety is extremely important to me. Before caring for a dog, I like to learn about their routine, behavior, preferences, and any special requirements they may have. If a dog does not get along well with other dogs, I will make sure not to place them in situations that may cause stress or discomfort. I carefully choose walking routes and environments that suit each dog's needs. My goal is always to create a positive and stress-free experience for the dogs in my care.

When caring for puppies and younger dogs, I pay extra attention to structure, consistency, and supervision. Young dogs are still learning boundaries and good behavior, so I make sure clear rules are followed and that they receive plenty of positive guidance. I understand the importance of maintaining routines and reinforcing the training that owners have already established at home.

I also have basic knowledge of dog training and understand the importance of consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. While I am not a professional dog trainer, I am familiar with reinforcing basic commands such as sit, stay, come, leave it, and walking politely on a leash. When caring for dogs, I always respect and follow the training methods and rules that their owners have established. This helps maintain consistency and prevents confusion for the dog. Especially with puppies and younger dogs, I understand how important it is to encourage good habits and reinforce appropriate behavior in a calm and positive way.

During doggy day care, I make sure dogs receive plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and opportunities to rest. I enjoy interacting with dogs, playing games with them, and keeping them company throughout the day. At the same time, I understand that some dogs simply enjoy relaxing and being around someone they can trust. I always pay attention to their body language and behavior so I can respond appropriately to their needs.

Communication with owners is also very important to me. I know how much pets mean to their families, so I always aim to be open, honest, and dependable. I am happy to follow any specific instructions regarding feeding schedules, walking routines, medication, favorite activities, or other important details. My goal is to provide care that is as close as possible to what your dog is used to at home.

During the summer vacation, I have a lot of free time and a very flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of attention and care to the dogs I look after. Because I am not balancing school during this period, I can be more available for walks, playtime, supervision, and following your dog's regular routine.

To ensure every dog receives the attention they deserve, I usually only care for one dog at a time. This allows me to focus completely on their needs, personality, and comfort. The only exception would be if multiple dogs are from the same household or if I know that the dogs are very well-behaved and get along well together. My priority is always creating a safe, calm, and stress-free environment.

I also take safety very seriously and always prepare for unexpected situations. In the event of an emergency, I would remain calm and act quickly. If a dog were injured, became ill, or showed signs of distress, I would immediately contact the owner and follow any instructions they have provided. If urgent veterinary care were needed and I could not reach the owner right away, I would take the dog to the nearest veterinarian to ensure they receive prompt medical attention. I believe clear communication and quick action are essential when caring for someone's beloved pet, and I would do everything possible to keep your dog safe and comfortable.
