I've grown up surrounded by dogs and cats, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. From a young age, I was responsible for feeding, walking, playing with and looking after our family pets. Over the years, I've also gained plenty of hands-on pet sitting experience, looking after dogs and cats for friends, family and clients. I'm comfortable with different personalities, routines and energy levels, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal. 🐾 Why I love pet sitting Unfortunately, I'm not able to have pets of my own in my current apartment, and I really miss having animals around! That's one of the main reasons I love pet sitting. It gives me the opportunity to spend time with dogs and cats, give them plenty of love and attention, and help their owners feel comfortable knowing their pets are in good hands. 🐶 Dog walking, playing & training I love spending time with dogs and keeping them happy, active and mentally stimulated! Whether it's going for walks, playing fetch, exploring new places or practising basic commands, I genuinely enjoy interacting with dogs. Walks are typically around 30 minutes, but I'm happy to adjust the length and pace depending on your dog's age, energy level and needs. I'm also happy to reinforce basic training, such as sit, stay, recall and good leash manners, using positive reinforcement and following the methods you're already using at home. For me, it's not just about taking your dog for a walk. It's about making sure they have fun, get plenty of attention and enjoy our time together! 🐱 Cat sitting & home visits I absolutely love cats and their unique personalities! Some want endless cuddles and playtime, while others prefer their independence. I'll always respect their boundaries and let them approach me at their own pace. During home visits, I'll take care of feeding, fresh water, litter boxes, playtime and general wellbeing. Visits are at least 30 minutes, so there's time for proper attention and company rather than simply popping in to refill a food bowl. 🏡 House sitting & overnight care I'm also happy to look after your pets in the comfort of their own home while you're away. I understand that familiar surroundings and consistent routines can make a big difference, especially for pets who are sensitive to changes. I'll follow their usual feeding, walking and sleeping schedules as closely as possible and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and cared for. Any specific requirements, including medication, can be discussed beforehand. ❤️ Communication & peace of mind I know how important it is to feel confident that your pets are being well looked after. I'll happily send regular photos and updates so you can see how they're doing. For me, pet sitting is about much more than earning some extra money. I genuinely love spending time with animals, and I'll always treat your pets with the same love, patience and care I'd give my own!
