About me:

I'm a 23-year-old Italian girl living in Utrecht with an international background. I was raised in Romania and have lived in El Salvador and Germany too.

I speak English, Italian, Spanish, German, and a bit of Dutch.

I work in the field of sustainable development at an international NGO in Amsterdam. I work from home in Utrecht 3 days a week, giving me great flexibility for pet sitting/walking.

I've been obsessed with animals for as long as I can remember. I was the kind of kid who would befriend every dog at the park and beg to visit the stables! That love has stuck with me into adulthood and even influenced my career in sustainability and conservation. Over the years, I've been lucky enough to spend time with all sorts of animals, including dogs, cats, birds, and some farm animals. But dogs hold a special place in my heart. They just have this amazing ability to make every day better.

I've always had dogs in my life, mostly smaller breeds, and I've learned a lot through both the joyful moments and the challenging ones. When my previous pup developed tracheal collapse, I learned emergency respiration techniques to keep her safe. Her daughter, aka my family's current dog, has a food disorder that requires syringe feeding, so I'm very comfortable administering medications and food this way. I also have plenty of experience with the less glamorous side of pet care: trimming hair, cleaning up messy situations (yes, including poop in fur!), and applying ear or eye treatments.
