Hallo allemaal! My name is Dave. I'm an American and have been living in Utrecht for five years. I adore animals and take pet care very seriously. I’m currently the happy owner of five wonderful cats, and have taken care of many animals my whole life.

I treat all pets with respect and love. I spend 30+ minutes per visit, not only taking care of all the basic needs like food, water, litter, and cleaning up any messes, but also bonding with your pet. I love to play and brush and will take lots of pictures every visit so you can see your furry friends when you're away. I'm very patient and experienced with shy and anxious cats. I also have experience caring for sick and elderly cats (medications, fluids, etc.) and can give injections or take them to the vet if the need arises. At this time I'm exclusively caring for cats. And I’m always happy to water plants, collect mail, etc. Just let me know if you have any other specific needs.

I know from personal experience how stressful it can to be find a trustworthy and experienced sitter. Whenever possible, I like to come meet you and your pet beforehand to ensure both pet and owner are comfortable with the arrangement and I have all the information I need. If you end up booking with me, I will send you an update with photos every time I visit.

I live in the city center with my wife and three daughters (and of course the five aforementioned kitties!). I take clients who live within a 15-minute bike ride of the center. I work another job from home and typically schedule my petsitting visits for the early morning and evenings. Contact me with any questions you may have or to discuss your pet care needs!
