About me...

My name is Marit, I'm 29 years old and living in Utrecht since 5 years. I grew up near Amsterdam and now I'm living with my boyfriend and 2 adopted cats: Toula and Sascha. Both are from Cyprus. In my daily life I work at a primary school, and I love traveling and photography.

My experience with pets...

I grew up with a cat that had quite a personality. She loved to sleep on my bed, but also scratched without warning. I currently live with a cat (Toula) that is adopted from Cyprus, and she is quite similar. She was very shy at first but now absolutely adores being close and cuddly. She also lets me know when it's time to play. When things don't go her way, she can scratch and bite. Our cat Sascha is quite the opposite and is just very friendly and sweet (to every stranger she meets). These experiences have taught me a lot about how to treat cats gently and with respect to their needs.

I also grew up with two labrador dogs, Kyra and Luna. Two very friendly and playful dogs with different personalities. Kyra is the sweet and quiet dog, and Luna is the playful and sometimes clumsy dog. I have experience with walking, cleaning, cuddling and playing with dogs. There is a big park close to my house so it would be easy to take your dog on a daily walk.

What can I do for you and your pet?

Daily visit: I can feed, brush, play with your cat, and of course give them love and attention. And/or I can feed and walk your dog and play with them. If you wish, I can also water the plants in your home and do other small tasks (we can discuss this when we first meet).

Because of a busy schedule I'm currently only available to do pet sitting close to my home (Kanaleneiland) or my work (Leeuwesteyn, Leidsche Rijn). The maximum distance is a 10 minute bike ride!
