Hi! I'm Katie, an American living in Utrecht, and animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember.

I've spent years pet sitting for both companies and private clients, caring for cats and dogs of all ages, personalities, and routines. These days I'm focusing on what I know best: cat sitting and house sitting.

At home, I'm a proud cat mom to three cats, including two seniors, so I'm very comfortable with everything from playful kittens to older cats who need a little extra patience and care. I'm experienced with feeding routines, medication, slow feeders, cleaning litter boxes, brushing, and—most importantly—earning a cat's trust at their own pace.

I know how stressful it can feel to leave your pets behind, so I treat every home with the same respect I would expect for my own. I'll make sure your cats have plenty of attention (or space, if that's what they prefer!), keep their routines consistent, and send regular photo and video updates so you can enjoy your trip knowing they're happy and well cared for.

What you can expect from me

• One or two visits per day, depending on your needs, or overnight house sitting.
• Feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, cuddles (if your cat wants them!), and plenty of attention.
• Daily photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your cat is happy.
• Oral medication, eye drops, and special diets if needed.
• Basic home care including watering plants, bringing in mail/packages, taking out bins, and cleaning up little cat messes.
• Flexible care tailored to your cat, your home, and your preferred communication style. If there's anything extra that's important to you, just let me know—we can discuss it!

If there's ever an emergency, I'll follow whatever plan you're most comfortable with, whether that's contacting you first or reaching out to your preferred veterinarian immediately.
