My name is Giulia, I am originally from Italy but I live in The Hague since 2021. Although working for a company based in Amsterdam, I mostly work from home and enjoy human-walking myself anywhere and everywhere through the city.

I spent my early childhood sharing burger bites and first steps with the family Labrador, while later on cats took over the role of scratch&snacks collectors in our house.

Since moving to the Netherlands I always wanted to have a pet of my own but was never able to: for this reason I resorted to petsitting/housesitting for friends and colleagues. Funny enough, it was actually a catsitting experience in The Hague that made me discover this city and ultimately got me to move here from Tilburg.

Most of the friends and colleagues I still petsit for only have cats, and I miss a companion to enjoy walks and curiosity with.

I offer flexibility and dedication, always mindful of the surroundings during our walks, respectful of other people and animals that we might encounter, and attentive towards your pet’s needs, special conditions and routines.

I do have vast cat experience, also administering oral medications and dealing with critical situations and struggles (diabetes, ibd, seizures).
I am slowly building up my dog experience: I first started helping out friends and colleagues, and I am now extending my services on Pawshake.

I am available to housesit in The Hague and I usually know plenty in advance about my plans/availability. I am always happy to discuss a solution together. I will treat and respect your place and goods as if they were my own. I expect any camera or other safety measure to be mentioned and discussed in advance, for both parties' peace of mind.

I prefer to have one meet up before the first booking. Any behavioral or medical notes or extra pets must be disclosed before our meet and greet.
