Nice to meet you, I'm Myrthe! I'm 29 years old, originally from Groningen, currently working at the VU in Amsterdam, and have been living in The Hague since I started my study in archaeology all the way back in 2015. 

My work for the VU only takes up 3 days a week and is mostly from home, so I have a lot of free time, and would love to spend some of it taking care of your furry friend(s)! 

My family always had cats growing up, and as a teenager I was also blessed with the beautiful dog you see in my profile picture. After living alone for a few years I decided I was ready for a cat of my own, which I adopted through a shelter in Aruba. He fits the stereotype of orange cats to a T, so I'm used to taking care of pets that come with a bit of an instruction manual! I also regularly pet-sit for my parents and several friends, so while I don't have much paid experience (yet) you can rest assured that you're leaving your pet in good hands. 

As a pet owner myself, I know very well that leaving them in someone else's hands is a big deal, and I take the responsibility very seriously. My regular job involves a lot of organisation and clear communication is key, so I will bring those qualities here as well. I am a flexible person and will always follow your and your pet's needs and preferences, whether I am visiting your home, staying overnight, or just taking your furry friend on a walk.
