Hi! I’m Sara, an Italian student from the Amalfi Coast, currently living in The Hague. I have always grown up surrounded by animals. Back home in Italy, I have three dogs — a German Shepherd, a Pinscher and a Pitbull — and a little black cat. Over the years, I have also had rabbits, guinea pigs, cats and other dogs. My dogs are a huge part of my life. We spend a lot of time together between the mountains and the sea, and I am very comfortable managing dogs of different sizes and personalities. I also have previous pet-sitting experience. I regularly looked after a Pitbull with heart problems who needed medication, and I also cared for a Cocker Spaniel during his owners’ wedding. I offer dog walking, home visits and pet sitting at the owner’s home. I am flexible and happy to adapt to each pet’s usual routine, personality and needs. I joined Pawshake because I really miss having animals around me here in the Netherlands and would love to spend time caring for someone else’s pets. I am quite flexible with my schedule, although I work in an Italian restaurant in The Hague on Friday and Saturday evenings from around 6 PM to 10 PM.
