Hello!

My name is Harriot, I'm 28, and I work for an NGO here in The Hague, and live with my partner Chris who is completing his MA in Mechanical Engineering in Delft.

I grew up with dogs, mainly energetic breeds like Border Collies, so long walks, training, and keeping active have always been part of life. Chris didn't grow up around dogs but is a huge dog lover, and has experience dog sitting. We really miss having a dog around, but because I travel occasionally for work, we can't commit to having one of our own right now. Instead, we love welcoming dogs into our home and giving them plenty of attention, care, and companionship while their owners are away.

We only offer boarding for one dog at a time, so your dog will always have our full attention in a calm, relaxed environment. We don't have children or other pets, making our home a peaceful place, particularly for dogs who appreciate a quieter setting.

I'm experienced with nervous and more sensitive dogs and we always take the time to let them settle at their own pace. Every dog is different, and we adapt our approach to suit their personality and routine.

Although we don't have a garden, we're surrounded by fantastic green spaces, including Haagse Bos, where your dog can enjoy plenty of walks, sniffing, and outdoor time every day.

We both have a flexible schedule and regularly work from home. My office is also only a short distance away, so even on office days I can easily come home at lunchtime for walks, toilet breaks, and company. Your dog won't be left alone for long periods.

We know how important consistency is, so we'll do our best to maintain your dog's normal routine while they're staying with us. Let us know the rules they follow at home, whether they're allowed on the sofa, where they sleep, their walking routine, feeding schedule, or any other habits you'd like us to keep. We want them to feel as comfortable and secure as possible during their stay.
