If you asked me 5 years ago, that I will move to the Netherlands and leave my pets behind I would tell you you are crazy.

Back in my home country I had to beg my parents for over 3 year to get my first dog. I loved him so much, was my companion during my teenage years (which we know are not easy). My dog Simba passed away my first year in the Netherlands due to kidney failure.

After my family back home have 3 dogs, Mango (Dad) , Yapa (Mom) and Enzo (puppy). 3 Beautiful golden retrievers. I always see photos of them and I get homesick. why dont I get my own dog in the NL? Well I work full time and just started my professional career so a dog is not yet in my plans.

I found this app and I thought this is the perfect solution! A part-time dog and part time owner haha
