About Bruna
(My availability is currently reduced as I'm not in the NL)
My name is Bruna, I am an international student in the Hague. I study classical music, and a lot of my hobbies are rather creative and involve some form of art. I always enjoy being active whenever I can, and the truth is that being a pet sitter allows me to do that, while walking dogs mainly.
I have been working as a pet sitter for 2.5 years now, I worked only privately for a while, with dogs from friends or friends of friends but I decided to return to Pawshake, now that I have more availability.
I have had pets my whole life, which drove me to start working as a pet sitter, as it brings me so much joy and calmness to be with animals. Besides, if I can help improve a family's life - including the pets of course), in any way - by allowing them to go on a holiday without worrying, or giving their dog an extra walk throughout the day so everyone can be more comfortable, I am more than happy and glad to do it.
I am mostly experienced with dogs but have also had and taken care of other pets such as rabbits or birds.
Most of the requests I receive are for walks over lunchtime (if the owner is working), or daily visits during holidays but I am also available for staying overnight whenever needed. Unfortunately, I cannot take your pet(s) to my house, but I am available for almost any region of the Hague - I live very near the centrum so it's fairly easy to go to different locations.
I consider myself very caring and loving with the pets, but of course also able to give firm commands and aid with training whenever needed. After my studies/when I have a bit more time I want to invest in a dog-trainer course, also for my future pets. Speaking of training, even though I am not fluent in Dutch, I do know most commands in Dutch, so it is not a problem to work with Dutch trained dogs.
As this is a new profile there won't be any references for now, but don't hesitate to ask and I can request them from owners who I work or have worked with, privately.
Looking forward to meeting you and your buddy/Buddies.
