I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life, growing up on a farm and sharing my life with three rescue dogs over the years. Sadly, my own dog passed away last year, and while I’m not ready for another dog just yet, I’d love to spend time caring for yours.

Because all of my dogs were rescues with their own unique personalities and behavioural challenges, I’m patient, calm, and comfortable caring for dogs that may be shy, nervous, reactive, or simply need a little extra understanding. I know every dog is different and deserves to be cared for at their own pace.

I work from home, so your dog will have company throughout the day and won’t be left alone for long periods. I also love spending time outdoors, whether it’s exploring the forest or taking walks along the beach, and I’m always happy to tailor walks to your dog’s age, energy level, and routine.

To make sure every dog receives plenty of individual attention, I only care for a maximum of 2–3 dogs at a time (depending on their size, temperament, and needs).

I like to keep dogs on their normal routine as much as possible, including feeding times, walks, playtime, rest, medication, and any training or house rules you already have in place. Before every booking, I’ll ask about your dog’s habits, preferences, and anything that helps them feel comfortable.

For introductions, I prefer a meet-and-greet before the first stay so we can get to know each other and make sure everyone feels comfortable. This also gives you the opportunity to tell me about your dog’s personality, routine, and any special requirements.

Your dog’s safety is always my priority. In the unlikely event of an emergency, I’ll contact you immediately, keep you informed every step of the way, and, if necessary, take your dog to your preferred veterinarian or the nearest emergency veterinary clinic.

My goal is to make your dog feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own and provide regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands.
