My name is Manuel and I am originally from Italy. I work in Amsterdam and live in The Hague. Most of the time, I work from home, which has allowed me in the past 2 years to build my parallel dogsitting activity. 

Having lived in 4 different cities within 10 years, I didn't have a chance to get my own pup until now, but I made up by making a loyal circle of dog friends in the area :)

I am experienced in walking and caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, tempers. I looked after animals with low mobility or other impediments (hearing, sight), rescue and emotionally challenged dogs. I am always focused on my surroundings during walks and respectful of your neighbourhood and other dogs. As I work from home mostly on a 9-5 schedule, my clients enjoy plenty of company during the day. I always do my best to accommodate their existing eating/walking habits and enjoy spending extra time out whenever possible.

I have been learning basic training skills and I am able to establish trust and an affectionate relationship with any type of dog.

Housesitting: I am available to housesit in The Hague for a minimum of 2 nights. I will usually know plenty in advance if I am available for a certain period. I am always happy to discuss a solution together. I am a true and experienced plant lover, and if you like I'll be happy to keep an eye on your plants while you are away. I expect to be welcomed in a clean and comfortable house and I will respect your place and goods as if they were mine - my clients are always greateful for how nicely I take care of their homes.

If there are any cameras in your house, I expect them to he switched off completely during my stay.  

NEW! Doggy day care & Dogboarding: Available from Summer 2025 - I am currently pet-proofing my new home and I will soon be available to look after your friend during the day in my 60sqm apartment near Zuiderpark. My area is a quiet neighbourhood with vast green spaces. I am equipping the house with everything which your dog will need (bed, bowls, soft toys, puppy door to the balcony, etc.). You will drop your dog at my place and will just need to bring: dogfood, your dog's favourite toy and treats, any medication or medical documents. I only accept at home one dog at a time. For this service, your dog must be house-trained and respond well to basic commands. 

Dog walking & House visits: I am not normally able to drop by for a few hours during weekdays. I can make rare exceptions depending on your personal circumstances and location, feel free to drop a message to discuss the possibilities.

I prefer to have one meet up before the first booking. Any behavioral or medical notes or extra pets must be disclosed before our meet and greet.
