I’m a big animal lover with lots of experience caring for pets. I’ve lived with animals my whole life and have never lived in a house without at least one pet. I’m especially comfortable around dogs, but I also have plenty of experience with cats.

Growing up, I lived with two cats, and years later we got our first dog, a little Maltese who I’ve been caring for since she was only one month old. More recently, we adopted another dog from a shelter who is significantly bigger and more demanding than what I was used to, which has given me even more experience with different needs and personalities. Most of my family members also have dogs or cats, and I’ve looked after their pets so often that they feel like my own.

Since moving to the Netherlands for my studies, I’ve been living with my aunt and her Dachshund, who I regularly take care of as well. I also have one year of professional pet sitting experience, during which I looked after multiple dogs, often at the same time.

I’ve cared for a wide range of dogs, from Pugs to larger sheepdog breeds, as well as puppies, kittens and older dogs and cats. I understand that every animal is different and needs patience, attention and a slightly different approach. My goal is always to make sure they feel safe, comfortable and cared for!

I’m currently a student, so my availability depends on my class schedule. I’m free on Mondays, Thursdays and weekends. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays I have one afternoon class, so I’m generally available around that. Fridays are my busiest day and I’m mostly unavailable until the evening.

I’m happy to look after pets in their own home, whether that means regular visits, feeding and spending time with them, going on walks, or staying overnight when needed. The standard walk durations are 30-60 minutes. Home visits are also 30-60 minutes. But we can always discuss to make adjustments to whatever needs your pet has. I’m happy to discuss what works best depending on your pet’s routine.
