Hi! 

I'm Nicolas from Belgium/Luxembourg. I speak English, French, and Greek, and I've been living in Den Bosch for the past 6 years. 

Ever since I was young, there have been cats in my life, all of them with very different personalities. I learned first hand that every cat has their own needs and wants, and learned how to adapt to them. 

I'm especially experienced in taking care of a cat who's anxious and shy. Five years ago, my partner and I adopted our cat Ruby, who's very shy and anxious. Before we adopted her, she lived in a household of over 10 cats, and the others would bully her quite often :( It took a long time for her to feel comfortable and safe around us, and she would still get easily scared of anyone else. Over the years though, she has regained confidence to be around our friends and visitors, instead of always running to hide under the bed. Caring for her, we knew to take our time and not rush her, knowing she'd come to us whenever she felt safe to do so. It's been an incredibly rewarding experience.

I can say that I will be there for your cat(s) in whatever way you'd like me to be, but I'll also be attentive to them beyond that. I'll work on creating a safe atmosphere to prioritise their comfort. I hope I can develop a relationship with your cat(s) and minimize their stress of an unknown person, to then catsit for you again.

I'm available for drop-in visits to cover the essentials of cat care, but I'm also flexible to stick around for longer and keep them company.

Ultimately, I am open to doing whatever your cat(s) need(s), and I want to have ongoing communication about it. I'll also make sure to send you regular updates, as often as you prefer, including pictures or videos of your cat(s).
