Hi! My name is Begüm, and I am currently living in Amsterdam. I am originally from Turkey, where I worked as a lawyer. Back home in Istanbul, I have five beloved cats, but since I am still figuring out my long-term plans in the Netherlands, I couldn’t bring them with me. As a result, I really miss having pets around, and my home in Amsterdam feels empty without them.

In addition to my experience with cats, I have always been surrounded by dogs, as many of my closest friends are dog owners. I also have experience caring for other pets, including parrots and guinea pigs.

I want to be a pet sitter because I genuinely miss the companionship of animals, and at the same time, I am looking for a way to support myself while searching for a legal internship. Taking care of pets would be a fulfilling and enjoyable way to do that!

I welcome pets into my home as long as they are vaccinated. I would love to provide them with a warm and caring environment while their owners are away.
