Hi! My name is Jimena, I’m from Peru and currently living in Rotterdam for my studies.

I’ve always had animals in my life, so caring for them feels completely natural to me. I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, and fish, but dogs have always had a very special place in my heart.

I’ve had four dogs of my own, and through them I’ve learned how to truly understand their personalities, read their behavior, and respond to their needs in a calm, patient, and caring way. I’m very attentive and responsible, especially with dogs that need a bit more time, structure, or reassurance.

In my daily care, I make sure pets follow their usual routine as closely as possible. I can take dogs on 2–3 walks per day depending on their needs, from longer walks for active dogs to shorter, slower ones for senior dogs. I’m also patient with puppies and understand they need consistency, gentle guidance, and supervision.

I have experience caring for pets that need extra attention, including administering medication and supporting dogs recovering from illness or surgery. I always follow the owner’s and doctor's instructions carefully and keep a close eye on their behavior and wellbeing.

Living in Rotterdam, I’m comfortable managing dogs in an urban environment, always keeping them on a leash when needed and staying aware of traffic, bikes, and other dogs. At home, I make sure the space is safe and calm where they can be always supervise, play and be spoil.

My schedule is flexible around my studies, so pets are rarely left alone for long periods, and I always make sure they get enough attention, playtime, and company. I'm usually more available at weekends.

Being away from home, spending time with pets means a lot to me. I genuinely enjoy their company, and I think it’s something we both benefit from, they feel safe, comfortable, and accompanied, and I get to share that connection with them.

For me, pet sitting is not just about supervision. It’s about creating a calm and caring environment where your pet feels safe, relaxed, and happy while you’re away. I will treat your pet as if they were my own.
