Hey! I’m Gergely!

Animals have basically always been part of my life. I grew up with both dogs and cats around me, and I currently have my own dog too. I’ve always had a bit of a special connection with animals, somehow we usually find each other pretty quickly. I’m definitely one of those people who will say hello to the dog before saying hello to the owner.

I have quite a bit of free time and flexibility at the moment, and I thought… why not spend some of it doing something I actually love? Being outside, going for walks and hanging out with animals sounds like a pretty good deal to me. So here I am!

I’m not a professional dog trainer, just a very experienced dog owner who genuinely loves animals and knows what it means to be responsible for one. And because I have my own dog, I know how important it is to feel that your pet is safe and happy when they’re with someone else.

🐕 Dog walks: Usually around 30 minutes, but I’m not going to stand there with a stopwatch. If your dog wants a relaxed sniff-every-single-tree kind of walk, absolutely fine. If they have some energy to burn, we can pick up the pace too.

🏠 Home visits: Around 30 minutes to feed them, refresh water, play, cuddle (if they’re into that!), let them out and simply give them some attention and company. I’m happy with both dogs and cats.

I also know that not every pet immediately wants to be best friends, especially with a stranger walking into their home. If your pet is nervous or shy, I won’t force interaction. I’ll give them the time and space they need and let them come to me at their own pace. Building trust is much more important than rushing things.

While your pet is with me, I’m also happy to send you a little update and some photos, so you know what we’ve been up to and don’t have to wonder whether everything is okay.

And of course, if something unexpected happens or I notice that your pet seems unwell or is behaving unusually, I’ll contact you straight away and follow the instructions we agreed beforehand. In a genuine emergency, your pet’s safety comes first.

I’m pretty flexible during weekdays, especially during the day, and I prefer helping people relatively close by. That also means I can sometimes help with last-minute requests.

Every animal has their own personality, and honestly, that’s half the fun. Some want to be your best friend within 30 seconds, others need a bit more convincing, both are totally fine with me.
