Hi! My name is Bella, I’m 25, I’m originally from Portugal, and I’ve been living in Rotterdam for the past three years. I’ve always had a strong connection with animals and grew up caring for many different pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, turtles, fish, birds, and chickens.

I also enjoy horseback riding and volunteering with horses, which has helped me feel very comfortable and confident around animals of all sizes. I’ve taken care of pets for friends and family before, and I truly enjoy spending time with them and making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for.

When I look after pets, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I offer walks and home visits of 30 minutes, 1 hour, or longer depending on your pet’s needs. I am comfortable caring for 1–3 pets at the same time, as long as they are from the same household and used to each other.

During walks, I make sure dogs get enough exercise, attention, and calm guidance. For home visits, I usually spend time feeding, refreshing water, cleaning if needed, playing, and making sure everything is okay before I leave them comfortable and settled.

Every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level, so I always take the time to get to know each animal individually. I make notes of any specific needs, preferences, or behaviors so I can adapt my care to them as best as possible. This helps me build a small “profile” for each pet, making sure I understand what makes them feel safe, relaxed, and happy. My goal is to provide care that feels familiar and consistent for them, even when their owner is away.

For safety and peace of mind, I may ask for basic medical information about your pet and your vet’s contact details so I can be fully prepared in case of an emergency.

I work full-time, but I have a flexible schedule and work in a pet-friendly environment, which allows me to balance my job with pet care responsibilities. I’m reliable, attentive, and always communicate clearly and update owners with photos and videos so they feel reassured while they’re away.
