I’m a Peruvian living in the Netherlands, currently pursuing a master’s degree. One of the main reasons I enjoy pet sitting is that, after all these months here, I really miss my cat and my mom’s pets back home. Taking care of animals makes me feel closer to home.

I shared my life with my cat for 17 wonderful years, since I was 13 years old. Through that experience, I learned how to understand animals’ needs, be patient with them, and provide a safe, calm, and loving environment.

More recently, I had the opportunity to take care of a friend’s dog, Romeo, which was a lovely experience. I enjoyed taking him for walks, keeping him company, playing with him, and making sure he felt comfortable and well cared for while he was in my care. It also reminded me how much I enjoy spending time with animals.

I would describe myself as responsible, caring, and attentive to detail. I’m happy to follow specific instructions, respect your pet’s usual routines, and adapt to their individual personality and needs. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, or simply keeping them company, I’ll do my best to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved.

I also understand that leaving your pet in someone else’s care requires trust. I’m happy to keep you updated and send photos during the stay, so you can feel reassured that your pet is doing well while you’re away.
