The first reason I want to become a pet sitter is to earn some extra money. Secondly, I really enjoy spending time with cats and dogs. Every day on my way to school, I see many dogs that I wish I could pet, but I hold back to avoid disturbing others. Since coming to the Netherlands, I haven't interacted much with dogs, though I have met some cats along the way.

I don’t have much experience owning a dog, but I’ve always become friends with the dogs I meet regularly. I love them, and they seem to like me too. My childhood friend has a dog named Zaizai. I met him when he was two years old, and we became friends instantly. Every time we met after that, he would get excited, and I would feel happy too. I would always take him for a walk whenever we were together. Unfortunately, in the summer of 2022, he passed away after accidentally eating something toxic. Sometimes, when I think of him or see his pictures on my phone, I still miss him a lot.

I once volunteered for a month in a tourist area. At the entrance, there was a small bike rental shop, and the owner had a lively, handsome dog. After finishing my tasks each day, I would often go to this shop and take the dog for a walk. Over time, the dog got familiar with me and even began to respond to my commands like "stop" or "sit." We became very good friends.

Since I live in a student dorm, I'm unable to bring pets home to care for them.
