I love dogs and cats and would love the opportunity to take care of them. Ever since I was a child I dreamt of having a cat or dog, but unfortunately I live with roommates now which makes it impossible to have one. My mom wouldn't let me have one, but I did have a rabbit called Bunny (very original) who I loved very much.

I have taken care of dogs and cats before, my dad used to have a cat and I have dogsitted for friends as well. I describe myself as a big animal lover.

I love going on long walks and playing with dogs. I live near a park where I usually walk but I also love walking through the city/alongside canals if the dog also likes that. My favorite places to walk are the 'singels' as you call them in Dutch; they are usually surrounded by the most beautiful houses and are nice and green to walk in. I think my walks are never much shorter than 30 minutes (if the dog needs to go out for a short walk, that is obviously also okay), but 1 hour walks or longer are my favourite.

Staying in with the cats is also totally fine with me. I also love to discover nature, especially when I am together with a dog. I am beyond excited to get to know different kinds of animals and getting the opportunity to play and chill with them.

Currently I am looking for a new job, which means I have more time to look after pets. I am widely available.

I would take responsibility for the pet’s wellbeing and maintain their usual routine, including feeding, walks, medication, and plenty of attention. In case of an emergency, I would contact the owner and, when necessary, the designated vet or emergency service immediately. I would also take good care of the home by keeping it clean and secure, following the owner’s instructions, and making sure everything is in order when they return.
