Hello! 

We are John and Krijn, and we live in Purmerend. We are about a 30 minute drive (or bus ride) from the center of Amsterdam. John is American, and Krijn is Dutch so, we speak both languages.

When we travel, our first concern is always finding a good, safe, reliable, and fun sitter for our doggies. We would like to be those good, safe, reliable, fun sitters for you! We both work at home, so dogs are never left alone. We normally do 3 walks per day (on-leash), but can do more if your dog needs more activity.

We have a rescue Shih Tzu/Jack Russell mix who adopted us while we were living in Brooklyn, New York in 2017 and 2018. John has always had a dog, from childhood right up to the present. This is Krijn's first time having dogs because his mom was afraid of them when he was growing up. He is a great doggie daddy! Our dog, Domino, love, love, loves other dogs, and to play and run around and be goofy. He also likes to sleep with us on our bed at night. He is close by all day, every day. We often refer to him as our supervisor or co-worker.

We usually board one dog as a time, here at our house. But if you have a pair of small to medium sized dogs, we can also sit them. When your dog becomes an honorary pack member, they will have both human and dog company all day, every day. There will be plenty of playing, and walks and treats, and of course cuddles and snuggles. At night, everyone sleeps together in our big family bed. We never cage our dog, or anyone else's.

We require all dogs to be fully vaccinated. If they have any special diet, health or behavioral issues, please let us know before confirming your booking. FYI, in the event of an emergency, we have a good relationship with the Dierenklinek Volendam/Landsmeer. They are about 15 minutes from us, and provide excellent care to our dog.

Services Offered:  

• Doggie Daycare (9:00 - 21:00) 
• Overnights from 1-10 nights. (If your vacation or travel is longer than 10 nights away, we can arrange a longer stay). 
• We will walk your dog at least 3 times per day 
• We will supervise your dog 24/7. They will never be left alone 
• We can administer oral medication 
• We can administer topical medication 
• We can bathe your dog before you pick them up, upon your request 
• In an emergency, we can take your dog to the vet
