Lorena is my name, came from Spain to the Netherlands 10 years ago.
My love for animals and nature is big, and spending time taking care of animals is one of the best things ever.

I have five cats here in Haarlem, which I adore and couldn't live without.

I am aware of how difficult it might be to find a trustworthy person to take care of your beloved furry friend while you are away, that's the reason why I'm here: to hopefully help you with some peace of mind during your holidays and/or working days away from home.

It is also possible for me (when living nearby) to stay at your place if needed during your holidays (under discussion) since my boyfriend will take care of our own cats.

Currently, besides of ny experience as a cat mum, I also have multiple cat sittings on my back and I take care of a dog on a weekly basis. I also take care of a baby labrador every few weeks.

Hi, ik ben Matya en ik woon in Haarlem samen met twee eigenwijze katten, Hannes en Guus. Hannes is het liefst altijd buiten en iedereen in de steeg komt ze kopjes geven. Hannes is binnen bij mensen juist erg schuw en wat angstig. Guus lijkt een stoere rode kater, maar zit het liefst binnen op schoot. Tot hij er geen zin meer in heeft dat je hem aait, dus ik let altijd goed op de signalen die hij afgeeft ;-) Ik heb vroeger ook op katten en huizen gepast en ik pas nog steeds op de katten van mijn zus en van een vriendin. Dit zou ik graag vaker willen doen! 
In mijn dagelijks leven ben ik hoofd bedrijfsvoering bij BIMHUIS in Amsterdam. Ik heb altijd in de culturele sector gewerkt, in Haarlem zit ik onder andere achter Parksessies en Boring festival. Katten heb ik altijd het leukst gevonden van alle dieren. Ze zijn eigenzinnig, doen over het algemeen wat ze zelf willen, grappig en doorgaans erg lief. 
In de weekenden ben ik zeer flexibel! Indien ik een thuiswerkdag heb doordeweeks kan ik ook langskomen, bij voorkeur in de ochtend of avond. Bij huisbezoeken vind ik het geen probleem om bijvoorbeeld ook de post even te verzamelen en planten water te geven. Ik heb een paar keer medicatie moeten geven aan Guus en dat ging altijd goed, met name als je het in "easy-pil" verstopt. Hopelijk tot snel! 

Vanwege verhuizing binnen Haarlem pas ik deze zomer, nazomer en herfst op huizen en huisdieren. Overdag ben ik in Amstelveen- en 's avonds in Haarlem omgeving beschikbaar om uw huisdier uit te laten of even gezelschap te komen houden of verzorgen. Vanaf 12 september ben ik nog op zoek naar een leuk huis- en huisdier(en) oppas adres waar ik ook zou kunnen blijven overnachten. 

Ik ben van jongs af aan opgegroeid met honden en katten (zie foto galerij) maar ook vissen en knaagdieren en ik ben bekend met de verscheidenheid aan gebruiksaanwijzingen en karakters  Ik hou van de gezelligheid en levendigheid die huisdieren brengen en weet uit ervaring hoe belangrijk het is om te weten dat ze in goede handen zijn tijdens uw afwezigheid. 

Ik heb ervaring met kleine en grote honden en het trainen van honden doe ik desgewenst met veel plezier. Ik hou er van om een stuk met ze buiten te lopen en/of lekker even bij ze te zitten en ze gezelschap te houden. Ook katten vind ik hartstikke gezellig. Zowel de honden als de katten hoeven echt geen allemansvriendjes te zijn. Ik neem mijn tijd voor ze en zorg dat ze de tijd en aandacht krijgen die ze nodig hebben tijdens uw afwezigheid.

Ik neem daarom de overdracht en alle instructies en voor hen belangrijke routines serieus ter harte en deel met plezier geregeld updates en foto's zodat u zorgeloos van uw vakantie / reis kunt genieten. 

Kortom, ik ben gek op dieren en zie er naar uit uw trouwe maatje(s) een goede tijd te bezorgen tijdens uw vakantie/afwezigheid!
