Hi! My name is Alisa and I am an international student in University of Amsterdam. I have always loved animals and enjoyed spending time around dogs, cats and other pets. I also have my own dog, whom I miss a lot because he stayed back home with my family. In the past, I have also had a cat and two turtles, so I am comfortable around different types of animals. Being a pet sitter is a great opportunity for me to spend time with animals while helping pet owners feel confident that their pets are well cared for while they are away. Although I am new to pet-sitting, I am responsible, patient, and attentive to each animal’s needs. I have helped at animal shelters a few times, which allowed me to gain experience interacting with different animals and understanding that each pet requires its own approach. I also understand how important it is for owners to trust the person who looks after their pets, so I always aim to create a calm and safe environment. I am happy to provide dog daycare, walks, and home visits. I am really active and enjoy long walks. I also love playing with dogs, and will make sure they receive enough activity, attention, and care during the day. I will also keep owners updated with messages or photos so they know their pet is doing well.
