As an international student, there are three things I miss the most being away from home: mountains, my dog, and walking my dog in the mountains. By becoming a pet-sitter, I am hoping to find a way to fill the void in my life that is not seeing her every day. Her name is Zorka, and she is a 5 years old border collie, so energetic breeds that require a lot of attention don't pose a problem to me.
Spending time with animals never fails to improve my mood, and is a great way to destress next to studying. Virtually any activity I can think of is better with a companion, be it long walks/jogs with a dog, or reading a book sitting next to a purring cat. I have plenty of experience in caring for these two animal species in particular, but I am open to try anything that does not involve feeding live prey.

I have many years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats, including my own dog back in Greece, Kemi, who was part of my life until recently. Caring for him taught me responsibility, patience, and how to understand different behaviors and needs.
I’m comfortable with small, medium, and large dogs, including energetic breeds and more sensitive or shy personalities. I also have experience with cats, both social and independent. I can support routines involving feeding, long walks, playtime, enrichment, basic training reinforcement, and non-injectable medication.
I take a calm, attentive, and gentle approach with every animal. My focus is always on safety, consistency, and understanding each pet’s individual temperament. I am reliable, organized, and happy to send photo/video updates during every visit or walk.

Ik heet Armand. Ik heb me hele leven met dieren gewoont en voor gezorgd. Vooral katten, maar inmiddels ook al meer dan 15 jaar hebben mij en mijn familie ook 3 honden in huis.
Ik ben zorgzaam, oplettend, hou van verbinding maken met dieren en tijd met ze doorbrengen. Ik hou van wandelen en in de natuur te zijn.&nbsp;
Ik wil oppas worden om mensen en dieren te helpen aangezien ik ervaring heb en de tijd heb om het te doen. Ik heb veel ervaring voor het zorg van me eigen dieren, en heb ook voor zieke honden en katten gezorgd (bijv. medicatie toedienen) en ik heb ook voor dieren opgepast voor andere familieleden en buren. Ik werk volledig remote en heb een flexibele schema dus ik heb veel vrijheid in die zin.&nbsp;

Mijn naam is Sacha Lucas en ben 18 jaar oud. Ik heb al 7 jaar een hond en ben een echte dieren liefhebber. Het lijkt mij leuk om voor uw huisdieren te zorgen of om een tijd op uw huisdieren en huis te passen. Ik ben goed met dieren en zal ze goed verzorgen. Ik ben helemaal niet bang en geef dieren meestal een rustig gevoel. Ik ben ook redelijk flexibel, omdat ik niet full time naar school ga. U kunt met een gerust gevoel weg gaan, want er wordt goed gezorgd voor de dieren. Het maakt niet uit hoe groot of klein, alles is prima voor mij. Ik ben goed bereikbaar, dus u kunt ook altijd contact opnemen bij vragen. Ik hoop dat ik wat voor u kan betekenen. Ik ben erg benieuwd in wat voor situaties ik kom, maar ik heb er erg veel zin in om alle dieren te ontmoeten! Ik ben inzetbaar voor uitlaatservice en voor oppas bij u thuis voor een dag of langere tijd. Ook kan ik u huisdier eten geven als u voor langere tijd niet thuis bent.

Aangenaam kennis te maken, mijn naam is Silvio en ik ben 27 jaar oud, woonachtig in Rijswijk en dagelijks te vinden in Den Haag.
Naast mijn eigen ondernemingen Studio Komodo, waarbij ik werk verricht in grafische vormgeving en videoproducties, ben ik op zoek naar een mooie combinatie van werkzaamheden. Zo kriebelt er al een tijdje een gevoel, namelijk dat ik met dieren wil werken. Ik heb een speciale connectie gehad met honden en katten en heb er meer dan ik kan tellen gehad. Verder verricht ik elke maandag wat huishoudelijke taken in het Haags Dierencentrum op de hondenafdeling, hier komt natuurlijk ook een beetje spelen en wandelingen bij kijken.
Ik ben gemotiveerd binnen mijn vak maar toch wil ik me graag wat meer verdiepen in mijn dromen en dus beginnen bij het begin. Thuis ben ik opgegroeid met meer dieren dan ik op vier handen kan tellen. Leguanen, eenden, kraaien, egels, honden, katten en nog meer. Vroeger werden we in de straat "het asiel" genoemd. Vaak redde wij diertjes in nood en zette we ze daarna weer uit in de natuur.
Momenteel heb ik bij mijn ouders drie honden, drie katten en twee konijnen. Kortom, ik ben enorm gewend aan dieren van elk soort en elk gedragstype. Zo accepteer ik snel waarschuwingen van honden en katten en kan ik deze ook goed lezen of er juist op ingrijpen, op een acceptabele manier. Ik schrik niet snel en reageer altijd begripvol op reacties van de diertjes en geef ze dan ook graag ruimte. Ik ben dagelijks in Den Haag te vinden en zal hier dan ook mijn krachten in willen zetten. Schroom vooral niet een berichtje te sturen als het elders gewenst is!
Het lijkt mij in ieder geval leuk om meer hondjes, katjes en meer in mijn leven te hebben en nog meer te leren voor mijn droombaan later.
Afgelopen twee jaar heb ik ook op een aantal katten van vrienden en vriendinnen gepast, wat me goed afging. Zo gaf ik medicijnen, zorgde ik dat de aggresieve kat vriendelijk werd (na wat krabbels) en heb ik heerlijk in een afwisselende sfeer kunnen werken achter mijn laptop. Mijn ambitie is voor 2026 een hondenuitlaatservice te starten en hopelijk in 2027 ook als bekwaam trimmer aan de slag te kunnen en dit te combineren. Om dan uiteindelijk een geweldig dierenpension te runnen aan huis. (wat een droom!)

Ik ben een zorgzaam en rustig persoon met een groot hart voor dieren. Ik vind het belangrijk dat een hond zich veilig, ontspannen en geliefd voelt. Ook als jouw hond het eerst even spannend vindt.
tijdens een wandeling neem ik de tijd en volg ik het tempo van jouw hond. Of je hond nu graag snuffelt, rustig wandelt of juist wat energie kwijt wilt. Veiligheid en plezier staan altijd voorop. Ik ben beschikbaar in het weekend, en vaak de avonden doordeweeks.
Ik studeer social work en heb hiervoor de studie dierenarts assistente gevolgd. Betrouwbaarheid, geduld en aandacht vind ik heel belangrijk. Niet alleen voor mensen, maar zeker ook voor dieren. In mijn vrije tijd hou ik van reizen, een koffietje halen met vriendinnen en creatief bezig zijn!
