Hi! I'm a 26-year-old Italian who grew up in South Africa, and animals have always been an important part of my life. I grew up with cats, so understanding their personalities, boundaries, and routines comes naturally to me. I'm comfortable caring for cats of all temperaments, from playful and affectionate to shy and independent. Over the years, I've also looked after and walked dogs for friends and family, and I enjoy caring for rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small pets. I like getting to know each animal as an individual and adapting my approach to suit their personality.

I studied ecology because of my love for animals and the natural world, and I enjoy applying that understanding to the way I care for pets. Being outdoors is one of my favourite things, so I’m always happy to take dogs on long walks through parks, forests, or other green spaces. My walks are usually around an hour, but I’m happy to go longer if your dog enjoys more exercise or only has one walk that day.

I offer flexible availability and can accommodate both regular bookings and one-off sits, including daytime visits, dog walking, house sitting, and overnight stays at the owner’s home.

When caring for pets, I always follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, playtime, medication, and any specific instructions you provide. A typical visit includes feeding, fresh water, cleaning up if needed, play or interaction time, and making sure your pet feels calm, safe, and settled before I leave.

If any unexpected situation arises, I stay calm and prioritise your pet’s safety. I will contact you immediately, and if needed, I am happy to follow any vet instructions you have provided or take your pet to a local vet if required.

For shy or anxious pets, I take a patient, gentle approach and allow them time to adjust at their own pace. If a pet is particularly nervous, I also recommend a meet-and-greet beforehand so they can get to know me in a familiar environment with you present.

I will keep you updated with regular messages, photos, and videos so you always know how your pet is doing while you're away. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel completely at ease and confident in the care provided.
