Hello Pawshake Community!

About me: I'm originally from Ireland, where I grew up around many farms and developed a deep love for animals from an early age. When I was 17, I spent time working in a veterinary clinic, which gave me a solid understanding of animal health and wellbeing. That hands-on experience taught me how to care for a wide range of animals with confidence and patience. On top of this, I spent 6 months working on a horse farm in Australia which was a truly beautiful experience working with them all day every day.

I've had many pets of my own over the years— turtles, cats, birds, dogs in Ireland that I miss dearly :(. I have even trained four guide dogs for the blind over a four year period! Which has been an incredibly rewarding yet emotionally draining experience as you only look after the dogs for one year.

While living in Maastricht, I often looked after friends’ pets, and I truly enjoyed it. Now that many of them have moved away after finishing university, I miss getting to chill with my animal friends!! I’d love to hang out with your pets for the day or longer if you need!
