Hi, I'm Luana! I’m a 23-year-old student doing my masters in Maastricht. I grew up in Romania, but I’ve been living in this city for the past three years having also done my bachelor’s here.

I grew up with dogs (and a squirrel!) and I’ve always been a huge lover of all animals. Having lost both of my childhood dogs this year only five months apart, I decided to get back into pet-sitting as being around other pets always brings me some solace. I spent my whole life giving my dogs the best life they could possibly have, and I want to spread that love to other dogs as well. This means providing lots of cuddles and walks for your dog, plenty of playtime, and very attentive care.

I’m very responsible, dependable, and patient, I have lots of experience understanding a dog’s needs and caring for them, and I’m also very attentive to each of their personal habits or needs. I also did dog-sitting in high school and during my gap year a few years back, so I have some experience caring for other people’s dogs, and I donated and volunteered at a local dog shelter for a bit. I can also provide oral medication and care for older dogs or dogs with special needs, as the dog I would pet-sit for was deaf and blind, and my own dogs both were very old (one also partially blind). While I don't have as much experience caring for cats, I did foster a cat for a little while!

I’ll always make sure to make you feel as comfortable as possible with leaving your dog in my care by providing regular updates and pictures. I live in a small apartment with roommates so I don’t have the space or amenities to host any pets, but I’m very happy to pet-sit at your house (both overnight or not) or take your dogs on plenty of long walks. I also speak very basic dutch and my rates are negotiable!

As a student, my schedule varies from week to week, but I'm happy to arrange pet-sitting around my university commitments. I'm generally available on weekends, and during the week I can often accommodate walks or visits before or after my classes. I'm happy to discuss schedules in advance to find what works best for you and your pet, and while in my care, they will always be my top priority!
