My name is Ümmühan. I am 24 years old. I am from Türkiye.

I have been surrounded by animals since my childhood, and they have always been an essential part of my life. I truly love them and have dedicated myself to supporting their well-being. In my home in Türkiye, I live with my six beloved cat children, including one who is visually impaired. Together with my family, we also care for more than thirty stray cats in our neighborhood.

Since high school, before moving to Maastricht for my master’s studies in August, I was actively involved in animal welfare activities. I always took part in spaying/neutering and vaccination for stray animals, and I was especially focused on helping sick and disabled ones. Together with my family, we created safe and warm spaces in our garden and apartment building where these animals could recover. Whenever possible, we found them loving homes. For those we could not rehome, we built a small living area in our garden where they could continue to live safely and comfortably.

Animals have always been more than companions to me; they are part of my family and my daily life. Taking care of them, playing with them, and simply being around them has shaped who I am and brought me endless happiness. Here in Maastricht, I do not want to be away from animals. That is why I am excited to spend time with animals, giving them the same love, care, and attention I give to my own.

With my lifelong experience, patience, and genuine love for animals, I believe I can be a reliable and caring pet sitter. I will make sure your furry friends feel safe, happy, and well taken care of while you are away.
