Hello! I'm Maria, a 19-year-old international student living in Maastricht, where I study Data Science and AI. I'm a creative, positive and caring person who has always had a special place in her heart for animals. Growing up in Spain, I've always been surrounded by animals. I've had dogs and even chickens! My family currently has two adorable Chihuahuas, Chispa and Chencho, who I miss terribly since moving to the Netherlands. Sometimes I even FaceTime my mum and little sister just to see them! Living away from home has made me realise just how much I miss having dogs around. I miss taking them on walks, playing with them, giving them cuddles and simply enjoying their company. That's what inspired me to start pet sitting! My experience I'm most experienced with small and medium-sized dogs, and I'm comfortable caring for dogs of different ages. I've experienced every stage, from looking after puppies to caring for my dogs as they grew older. Walks and activities I offer both 30-minute and 1-hour walks, depending on your dog's needs and energy levels. I love exploring outdoors, playing, keeping dogs entertained and making sure they get plenty of attention and affection. My availability and routine Although my university timetable changes from week to week, I'm flexible and can organise my schedule around bookings. For shorter stays, including full-day and overnight care, I can dedicate my time entirely to your dog. I can also accommodate longer stays, depending on my university commitments, which we can discuss beforehand. My home environment I live in a student residence in Maastricht, with a room of approximately 30 m² and access to a spacious garden. Dogs can relax, play and enjoy some outdoor time. My approach to caring for your dog I understand that every dog is different and has their own personality, routines and little quirks. Before looking after your furry friend, I'd love to know what they enjoy, what makes them nervous, their habits, dislikes and any medical needs they might have. I'll do my best to follow their usual routine, including feeding times, walks, playtime and rest. I'm also happy to send you pictures and updates throughout their stay so you can see how they're doing! My priority is to make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable and loved while you're away.
