My journey with pets began five years ago with a rescue in the snow. Starting with that first kitten, my home has since grown into a “big fluffy family” with two cats and a dog. Over these five years, I’ve gone beyond basic feeding and companionship to delve deeply into understanding pets’ behavioral language and psychological needs. The knowledge I’ve gained—whether from books or conversations with fellow pet owners—has given me a wealth of hands-on experience.

I am 27 years old and currently pursuing my Master’s degree. At the moment, I’m working on my thesis, which gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to spend with animals. I live in a quiet, pet-friendly neighborhood, with a grassy area just around the corner where dogs can play and explore.

I truly love being around animals. Even before joining Pawshake, I frequently helped friends look after their cats and dogs when they were away. I’ve also volunteered in stray cat rescues and am familiar with both indoor care and outdoor handling.

Because of this, I can quickly build trust with new cats and dogs. I’m skilled in handling all aspects of daily care—feeding, grooming, dog walking—and I can strictly follow an owner’s instructions when it comes to administering medication. My friends often entrust me to foster their pets during holidays, not only because they know their pets are safe, but because I genuinely enjoy helping them solve small behavioral or care challenges along the way.

What motivates me most is the peace and connection I feel when I’m with animals. To me, pets are friends who bring us calm and joy. I firmly believe that choosing to live with them means choosing mutual respect, understanding, and a commitment to creating a comfortable, low-stress, and safe environment for them.
