My husband and I are HUGE dog lovers!!!

We have been living in the Netherlands for 4 years (from South Africa) and have our own dog! Kiara is 4 years old and we adopted her from a pound in Cyprus. She is still a bit scared of people, but she LOVES other dogs.

We have been around dogs our whole life! The biggest dog I've had was a bullmastiff x ridgeback; and the smallest one is a terrier. In one of my photos you can see my babies cuddling under the blanket with me when they get too cold. Most of our dogs are rescue dogs from shelters.

I have been involved in helping animal shelters in South Africa including raising 6 puppies when their parents were poisoned. I have grown up around dogs my whole life and my dogs are my babies.

I work from home full time and my husband goes to the office twice a week, so there is always someone home with Kiara. During the week we take Kiara for a walk in the morning and evening and usually play outside a bit during lunch time. We have a large back yard where she can run around during the day. However we noticed she is much happier after she has been playing with another dog. We are not ready to get a second dog yet, so we are opening up our home for part-time dog sitting (but actually really more for a play mate for Kiara). :)

Kiara is a medium/large breed (30kgs) Cane Corso. She can sometimes play a bit rough so we don’t think it’s a good idea to accept small dogs at this point. So we are looking for dogs that are similar in size to her.

Your dog also needs to be comfortable around babies as we have a 3 month old.
