my girlfriend and I are interested in getting a dog but before we do so we want to volunteer our time to look after some dogs so we know what breed works for us. we love all dogs but we have a very conscious bias towards large doggos.  

I've lived with dogs my entire life. I love walking them, cuddling with them, and sometimes singing with them when the ambulance comes by. the last dog I owned was a beautiful innocent greyhound - she kept the house extremely safe from cats and rabbits. 

We recently purchased a house in Helmond, it has a large back garden which is fully enclosed, and it's fairly close to a park nearby. I also like to go running (5-10km) so if you have a young fit doggo, that would be preferable.

Our furniture is not dog proof yet, but I hope to fix that soon! we don't have any dog toys or dog bowls or dog food. so you will have to provide that if you want us to look after your dog for you. also it would be good if you can drop your dog at our house. 

my girlfriend and I both work full-time. but after work we both really like to go for a long walks so this is perfect for a doggo. we will try and instill the rules that no dogs bag at the table nor hop on the bed. but exceptions can be made when my girlfriend is away :)
