Hello! My name is Burcu, and I live in Vleuterweide with my family, including our two children and one dog. I have always shared my home with cats and dogs since childhood, so I am very experienced in caring for both. I also have experience with birds, such as lovebirds and small parakeets, both from my childhood and more recently.

I offer dog walking and pet sitting services (excluding overnight stays), as well as cat visits. Since we already have a dog at home, I am unable to host other dogs or cats in our house. I am based in the center of Vleuterweide and usually walk my dog in Heycoop and Maxima Park, but I am flexible and can walk your dog anywhere in the area.

For dog walking, I only walk one dog at a time, unless the dogs are from the same household. This ensures each dog receives my full attention and care. I do not accept dogs with behavioral issues; I prefer to work with dogs who have basic training and understand basic commands. This helps ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for both your dog and myself.

Dog walks are available at any time of day, with options for short (15 minutes) or long (45 minutes) walks, depending on your needs. During walks, I am attentive and ensure your dog doesn’t pick up food or other items, and I keep their paws clean by avoiding messes and wiping them before entering your home. I am also comfortable administering medication to pets, as long as they are not aggressive, and have experience doing so with both dogs and cats.

For cat visits, I can come to your home, play with your cats, check their litter box, and refresh their water and food. I am generally available on all days and at all times—just let me know what you need, and I’ll do my best to accommodate.

For dog walking, I prefer morning and evening walks during quieter hours to minimize contact with other dogs, as their behavior can be unpredictable. If anything urgent arises during my care, I can quickly consult our nearby vet in the center of Vleuterweide and will always keep you informed.

While you’re away, I can send you photos and videos of your pets so you can stay connected and not miss them too much. I speak English and Turkish fluently, and a little Dutch, so communication is easy.
