Slightly Longer About Me:
I'm a student at the UvA, from Poland, living in the centre of Haarlem. There's always been a pet (or pets) in my home and in my life until my last dog passed away and I moved to the Netherlands for my studies. I miss animals dearly, so taking care of yours will be a pleasure.&nbsp;
I have experience with cats, dogs, rodents (and can probably figure out fish); both long- and short-term. I used to volunteer at an animal shelter back in Poland (Ciapkowo) where I went through training. I can deal with very difficult dogs (stubborn, running away, aggressive towards other dogs or people). My own, late husky that I adopted from that shelter was most likely traumatized and it took years for her to learn to not be scared of everybody. With the support of an animal behaviorist, she went from biting every hand that went a little too close and refusing to look at anybody talking to her, to doing tricks, walking with no leash and loving belly rubs.

I can administer medication orally, change bandages and do dog training from complete beginner (sit, stay, lay down, give paw) to intermediate-advanced (touch this with your nose, bring this, left vs. right paw).
I live with a lovely cat, who doesn't mind other pets.
I could already have a pet staying at my house when you contact me (max. 3). I'll notify you about this in case your pet doesn't get along well with other animals.
I do at least three walks per day, each at least 15-20 mins, but of course this can be more, or less, according to your dog's needs.&nbsp;
Since I'm a student that just started their summer vacation, I have a lot of free time I want to use for pet-stitting. I work (part-time) mostly from my house, which isn't too big, so even while I'm not spending dedicated time with your pet, I will be able to supervise them 24/7. If I have to leave the house, I'll take them with me on a bonus walk.
I live with my girlfriend (who also loves animals) in a one-bedroom apartment on the first floor. We unfortunately don't have a backyard, but furry guests are allowed to go wherever they want and no couch or bed is off-limits.

My name is Julia and I have been living in Haarlem for 3 years now. I am currently a freelance interior designer in this country and barista every mornings, and I am passionate about animals and they have always been close in my life. I am Spanish and I come from a beautiful island called Ibiza, my family has always had dogs (large dogs) since I was very little, and now some cats, a little wild since we live in the countryside. Ik ben professioneel, betrouwbaar en kom altijd mijn afspraken na. De behoeften van uw huisdier staan voor mij voorop. Zelf heb ik ook een kat dus ik weet hoe belangrijk het is om dieren een veilige en liefdevolle omgeving te bieden. 
Ik heb ervaring met het verzorgen van verschillende huisdieren, waaronder puppy's, volwassen honden, kittens en volwassen katten. Ook heb ik gewerkt op een kinderboerderij met vogels, konijnen, cavia's, en andere knaagdieren. Ik heb veel verschillende karakters bij honden/ katten voorbij zien komen: lief, agressief, aanhankelijk, schuw etc. Ik vind het belangrijk om eerst de dieren te leren kennen zodat ze aan mij wennen. Ik zal altijd ramen en deuren gesloten houden en zorgen voor een veilige omgeving. 
Ik ben beschikbaar op de woensdagen, zaterdagen en zondagen. Het is mogelijk om meerdere bezoekmomenten per dag in te plannen. Een bezoek moment duurt gemiddeld 1-1,5 uur. Ik ben flexibel en pas mij aan aan de behoeften van u en uw huisdier. Ook vind ik het geen probleem om wat huishoudelijke taken op mij te nemen tijdens mijn verblijf, denk aan het verzorgen van de planten of het verzamelen van de post. Uw huis zal altijd netjes en schoon blijven tijdens mijn verblijf. Helaas is het niet mogelijk om uw huisdier(en) bij mij thuis te laten verblijven. 
Communicatie vind ik zeer belangrijk. Ik zal u daarom, als u hier behoefte aan heeft, op de hoogte houden van hoe uw huisdier het doet. Als ik op uw huisdier(en) pas, zorg ik dat ik ten alle tijde telefonisch bereikbaar ben. 
Kortom, ik ben de perfecte keuze als u op zoek bent naar een ervaren, betrouwbare oppas die het welzijn van uw huisdier(en) zeer belangrijk vind.
