Hi, I’m Dorka!

I grew up surrounded by animals: cats, dogs, bunnies, lovebirds, turtles, horses, and a tank of fish that lived to twelve. Caring for pets isn’t a side job for me. It’s something I’ve done my whole life and genuinely love.

I’m based between Haarlem and Amsterdam and currently between roles, spending my garden leave searching for my next one. It got me thinking: I’m normally too busy to have a dog of my own, so why not put this time to good use and enjoy the company of some lovely paw-friends this summer? It also means my schedule is genuinely flexible and I can easily fit around yours.

I’m a very active person: cycling, running, being outside. So I’d happily take your dog on looooong walks, anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. How does that sound?

I haven’t done dog-sitting professionally, but I walk my neighbour’s dog regularly just for the fun of it, and I have a family dog I spend as much time with as I can. I’m confident with dogs on and off the lead, always within the boundaries you set.

I’m reliable, and happy to share photos and check in regularly during walks and playtime.
