Hi! My name is Mia and I’m an international student who recently moved to Groningen. I would love to spend my time caring for animals again. I’ve been around dogs my whole life so being with pets feels very natural and comforting to me. Right now I am far from my own dogs so this means a lot to me personally too. I am a caring, patient, and responsible person, and I always want pets to feel safe, happy, and comfortable.

I speak English as my primary language and I am happy to communicate clearly with updates so you always know your pet is in good hands. I treat every animal with the same care and respect as if they were my own.

My availability
I’m generally available in the morning, afternoon, and evening, depending on my university schedule. I’m happy to discuss specific days and times with you in advance.

Dog walking
I’m happy to take dogs on walks and adjust the pace and length depending on their needs and energy level. I usually enjoy walking around Groningen’s parks, green areas, and quieter streets. I’m also happy to follow your usual walking routine and preferences.

Home visits
During home visits, I can provide your pet with company, attention, feeding, fresh water, playtime, and general care.I’m happy to stay for around 30–60 minutes per visit, depending on what your pet needs.

House sitting
I’m also happy to look after pets in their own home. The exact hours and arrangements can be discussed with you beforehand depending on your pet’s needs and my university schedule. I will always make sure the home is kept secure and cared for, and I’ll follow any instructions you leave for me.

I’m comfortable following feeding routines and can also administer medication if clear instructions are provided.

Please note that I do not offer boarding or pet stays at my own home, as I live in student housing and unfortunately cannot host pets there. However, I’d be very happy to care for your pets in your home, take them for walks, or visit them while you’re away.
