Hi! I’m Mónica, I’m 26 years old, originally from Spain, and I live in Groningen, just next to Stadspark, with my partner, who grew up here. I’ve grown up surrounded by animals, especially my cat Keko and my Yorkshire Terrier, Dana, so caring for pets has always been part of my life. My partner has also always lived with cats, so he’s very familiar with their care and routines.

Since moving to the Netherlands, I’ve really missed having animals around. After looking after friends’ dogs here in Groningen for a few weekends, a friend who also does pet sitting encouraged me to join this app. It felt like the perfect way to spend time with animals while helping owners feel confident that their pets are in safe hands.

I offer dog walks, home visits and boarding for cats and small to medium-sized dogs. Living right next to Stadspark means there are plenty of lovely places for relaxed walks, giving dogs the chance to explore at their own pace. I also have a car if needed, provided your pet is comfortable travelling by car.

I work as a Pilates instructor and I’m also self-employed, so I have a flexible schedule. I usually offer walks of at least 30 minutes, but I’m always happy to adapt them to your pet’s routine and needs. Your pet would rarely be left alone, and if they have any specific routines, dietary requirements or need medication, I’ll carefully follow your instructions. I’ll also keep you updated throughout their stay with photos and videos, so you’ll always know how they’re doing.

There are no children or other pets at home, so your pet will enjoy a calm environment and plenty of individual attention.
