Hello hello I’m Giorgia! I’m an Italian living in Groningen and I truly love animals. I’ve always enjoyed spending time with dogs and cats, and I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for your pet when you’re away. 

I am a calm, responsible, and attentive person who enjoys long walks, quiet time at home, and creating a safe environment where pets can feel comfortable and relaxed. I live with my boyfriend in a 100 squared meters apartment with lots of space, and he loves pets too! We often take care of our friends' pets while they are busy/on vacation, and I have already done petsitting several times. My longest was taking care of a dog at my place for 2 weeks, and I loved it! Back in Italy I also did some volounteering in dogs' shelters, and my family always owned both dogs and cats.

I’m searching for a full-time job in marketing so I currently have a flexible schedule, which means your pet can receive plenty of attention, care, and supervision - both at my place or at yours (or for walks). I’ll make sure they stick to their routine as much as possible and feel loved while you’re away :) usual walks happen a few times per day and last up to 1 hour, but clearly that depends on the type of dog and needs. I also have experience with energetic dogs. I have never taken care of an anxious dog before, but open to give it a try! 

When caring for a new pet, I always take the time to understand their personality, routine, and specific needs. I live in a safe, pet-friendly home and make sure pets are supervised and comfortable throughout the day. I only accept a number of pets that I can give proper attention to, and I always follow the owner’s instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medication, and any special requirements.

Also, I like keeping owners updated with photos and messages, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your best friend is happy, safe, and well cared for. Let's connect! :)
