Hello, my name is Denis, and I moved to Groningen in 2023. Before relocating, I lived with my family and cared for our two beloved pets: Ice, a Golden Retriever, and Alfi, a British Shorthair cat. Moving to Groningen has been an exciting adventure, but I’ve found myself missing the companionship of Ice and Alfi dearly. This longing to be around animals again inspired me to become a pet sitter.

Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how unique each pet truly is. While many animals share similar behaviors, each one has its own distinct personality. I take pride in my ability to read and respond to their individual body language, ensuring they feel comfortable and secure. This skill has grown with time and experience, and I’m confident in my ability to provide personalized care for every pet I look after.

In addition to caring for my own pets, I spent about eight months living on a farmhouse, where I was responsible for taking care of various farm animals. Every morning, I would feed the chickens, goats, pigs, and cows, and I made sure their pens were clean and comfortable on a weekly basis. Although the work could be challenging, it was incredibly rewarding, and I cherished the sense of responsibility that came with knowing those animals depended on me.
