About Me

Hi! My name is Sepideh. I’m an international student currently living and studying in Groningen.

I have always enjoyed being around animals, especially cats. For the past five years, I have been taking care of my own cat, including her daily needs, feeding, keeping her environment clean, and paying close attention to changes in her behaviour and wellbeing.

Although I am currently living in Groningen for my studies and my cat is staying with my family, I would love to use my experience and love for animals to help other pet owners who need someone they can trust.

My Experience with Cats

I have five years of hands-on experience caring for my own cat. This has taught me to be patient, responsible and attentive to an animal’s individual personality and needs.

I understand that every pet is different. Some animals are very social and playful, while others need more time and space to feel comfortable with a new person. I am happy to follow the owner’s routine and instructions carefully.

What I Can Help With

Feeding and providing fresh water

Cleaning food and water bowls

Cleaning litter boxes

Playing and spending time with cats

Checking that the pet is safe and comfortable

Sending photos and updates to the owner

Following specific care instructions

Giving basic medication when clearly instructed by the owner

Why I Want to Be a Pet Sitter

Moving to Groningen to study has been a big change in my life, and I miss having my cat around me. Being able to spend time with animals again would be something I genuinely enjoy, while also helping people in my local community.

I understand how difficult it can be to leave a pet when you are away, so my goal is to provide reliable and caring support and make sure both the pet and the owner feel comfortable.

Availability

As a student, I have a flexible schedule around my classes and can discuss suitable times with each pet owner in advance.

I am particularly interested in cat sitting, home visits and feeding/companionship visits in Groningen.
