Hi! I’m a 23 year old student from the Czech Republic and I’m currently studying in Groningen. I’ve always been a huge animal lover and I grew up with pets around me. Back home I have two cats and a VERY big dog, so I’m used to both cats and dogs of all sizes and with very different personalities.

One of the things I miss the most while living in Groningen is actually having my pets around. That’s also a big reason why I decided to start pet sitting. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so for me it’s a really nice way to help someone out while also getting some much-needed animal company :)

I offer dog boarding and doggy day care at my apartment, as well as dog walking and home visits for both dogs and cats. I’m happy to adapt to what your pet is used to. If your dog loves long walks and being active, I’m more than happy to do that, but I’m just as happy with a slower walk and lots of time on the couch afterwards.

For home visits, I can take care of feeding, fresh water, litter boxes, playtime and anything else that is part of your pet’s usual routine. And obviously, cuddles are included if your pet is into that!

For boarding or day care, your pet will stay with me in my apartment in Groningen. I don’t have any pets living with me here, so there won’t be other animals in the apartment. I’m comfortable with both small and large dogs, as long as they are okay with staying in an apartment.

My university schedule is quite flexible and I spend a lot of time at home, so most of the time your pet will have plenty of company. A few times a week I may have classes, but your pet would never be left alone for more than around 5 hours, and usually it would be much less than that.

When a dog stays with me, I usually plan around 3 walks a day, but I’m happy to adjust this depending on what they’re used to, their age and energy level. Whether your dog prefers shorter relaxed walks or longer active ones, I’m happy to follow their normal routine.

I’m also comfortable giving medication if needed, as long as you let me know what your pet needs and give me clear instructions.

I know I would want updates if someone else was looking after my own pets, so I’m always happy to send photos and little updates while you’re away :). 🐾
