Hey to you pet-owners! :)

My name is Alessia, I'm 21 and I'm from Germany! I moved to Groningen in August and have adjusted pretty well! Now I thought I wanna add something else to my life :)

Since I’m a student, my availability is quite flexible, for example I always have Tuesdays and Wednesdays off and can schedule my time how I like. Since I really miss having animals around me and it is not very suitable to have my own at the moment, I'd love to look out for yours and help you out! I grew up with a dog and during my time in the US I also lived with three dogs, whom I loved spending time with. Now, my dad and his girlfriend own a dog that I see regularly and play with whenever there’s a chance. :)

For a few months last year I was volunteering in Tanzania, Africa with turtles, but it was actually also a place with plenty of cats. We regularly bought food, checked them for any sort of diseases and whenever a new one came we came up with a cute name. I really enjoyed taking care of them and I actually miss it quite a lot.

I’m offering to walk your dog (or dogs) once a day. If you have any specific wishes for your dog, the length of the walk or anything, let me know! I like taking walks and being in nature generally, so it would be a very nice addition to have a dog with me! :) I can take your dog overnight too, as well as when you’re out of town for vacation or something if it fits my schedule, it might not be regularly though. I live in a quiet and family-friendly part of Groningen, directly in front of a small park and a pond, it's also quite close to Stadspark. I’m currently sharing an apartment with 2 other nice girls from Ireland, I added a picture of the living room for an impression in case your dog is gonna stay here. Of course I'm open to take care of all sorts of pets!
