I’m Héctor, originally from Valencia, Spain, and currently living in Groningen, where I study Mechanical Engineering. I have always had a strong connection with animals, especially dogs, and taking care of them is something I truly enjoy.

Back home, I grew up with dogs and also had experience caring for cats, so I’m comfortable adapting to different types of pets and their personalities. I understand that cats often need a calmer and more patient approach, and I always respect their space while making sure they feel safe and cared for.

Since moving to the Netherlands, I really miss my own dogs. That’s one of the main reasons I want to work as a pet sitter — to stay close to animals and give them the same love and attention I gave my own pets.

I’m an active person who enjoys spending time outdoors. I usually go for walks between 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the dog’s needs and energy level. For more active dogs, I’m also happy to go on longer walks or runs in nature.

I’m patient and attentive when it comes to different personalities. Whether a pet is energetic, shy, or needs extra care, I adapt to their pace and make sure they feel comfortable and relaxed.

My schedule is flexible around my university studies, and I can offer daily walks, home visits, or extended care depending on your needs.

Safety and trust are very important to me. I always keep dogs on a leash unless instructed otherwise, stay in safe environments, and pay close attention during walks. In case of any unexpected situation, I stay calm, act responsibly, and contact the owner immediately. If needed, I am ready to take the pet to a nearby veterinary clinic.
