Hi, I’m Ginger. I’m currently a student at TU/e and have some free time during the week, which I’d love to spend caring for pets. I’ve looked after and walked dogs for friends and family, so while I’m not a professional trainer, I’m comfortable ensuring pets are safe, happy, and well-cared-for.

I’ve spent time with a variety of dogs, from small fluffy ones like poodles to larger breeds like labradors, and I’m used to adjusting to different personalities and energy levels. Whether a dog wants a long walk, some playtime, or just company. I also grew up with a cat who has a strong personality(she had temper), so I’m familiar with cats and their moods as well.

Safety is very important to me. I’ve learned CPR for different types of dogs and cats and I’m currently learning additional emergency maneuvers. I stay observant of pets’ behavior, understanding that their emotions can greatly affect their health. I’m attentive to any signs of stress, illness, or discomfort.

When meeting shy or cautious pets, I take it slow. It usually allows them to get comfortable before a walk, starting in enclosed or familiar areas if needed. I adjust my approach based on each pet’s personality and comfort level.

I enjoy walking and being outdoors, so taking dogs on walks is something I genuinely like doing. I communicate openly with owners according to their preferences: normally checking in with a photo at departure, during long walks (about hourly), and returning, but I can adjust this depending on your request.

Mostly, I’m someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals and would love to use my free time to care for and spend quality time with your pets, and of course most importantly, keeping you updated and confident that they are safe and happy.
